A photo of a man dressed as a priest wearing Gucci sunglasses and Hermes belt has become viral in social media with many humoristic but also angry comments.

Mykonos has seen many extravagant and weird fashion styles, but this was one of the kind.

The person appearing to the photo seems to be a tourist who adopted the Moni Style. He wore a black outfit which looks like a garment, and since he had a big thick beard, he was mistaken for a priest.

The Moni Style – wearing a long black blouse or shirt that reminds of garment –  showed up in Mykonos two years ago and became quickly a trendy look.

In fact, there is a Moni club in Mykonos. Its name was taken after the church located in the square where the club is situated.

A team of Greeks, British and French-Arabs run the Moni club, which has also opened in London and Paris with different names, though. These clubs are some sort of private clubs and in order to be accepted, you have to know someone who is already a regular customer.

Among the people who run the clubs is Greek Gregoris (Greg) Tsouloufris, whereas the regular customers of London’s club include Greek ship-owners, wealthy students and children of wealthy and well-known families of London.
