Groups of youths and anarchists are wreaking throughout Athens, as some attacked police in front of the Athens Polytechnic, while other barged into supermarkets and stole items. Groups of youths threw molotov cocktails and rocks against police in front of the Polytechnic, early Sunday, in downtown Athens. At 2 am they exited the campus blocking off traffic on Patision Ave. When police came onto the scene the group started throwing molotov cocktails and rocks against the officers. They dispersed after a few hours and the traffic was restored at 6 am in the morning. Meanwhile, after smashing ticket machines and PCs at the Petralona metro station and burning a police motorcycle, Saturday, anarchists attacked 3 separate super markets in the suburb Vyronas, in the northeast of Attica and stole food and products. Two days ago extremist leftist groups published 4 more names of metro ticket inspectors on a website.
