Veteran footballer and legend of the game in Greece, Takis Loukanidis, has passed away at the age of 81. Loukanidis played for Panathinaikos and Doxa Drama, and was considered by football experts as the most complete footballer that had ever set foot on the pitch in Greece, as he had played in all positions. He died of a heart attack. He started his career at AEK Komotinis, before moving to Doxa Drama. In 1962 he made the big move to Athens when Panathinaikos signed him, where he played for the next 7 years conquering 4 Greek championships and one cup.
