4.6 earthquake hits east of Sparta

It struck a little before noon

A 4.6 magnitude earthquake hit the town of Neapolis in the region of Lakonia in the Peloponnese. The tremor was recorded at 11.52 am, according to the Athens Geodynamic Institute and was located in the sea 55km southeast of Sparta.
