Greek PM says country faced three major crises in his UN address

He said the country faced the economic crisis and the refugee crisis

Newsroom September 28 08:15

Greek PM Alexis Tsipras addressed the UN General Assembly on Friday in New York, stressing that the nation bore the brunt of three major crises. As he mentioned, Greece faced the economic crisis in the European Union, which resulted in the jobless rate skyrocketing; the second one the refugee crisis with thousands crossing into Greece; and, the third one being the rise of nationalism and the destabilising of the region due to extreme views taking the hold.
