Israel expresses clear solidarity with Greece in crisis with Turkey

The Israeli Embassy issued a relevant statement

The Israeli government issued a statement on the tension in the Eastern Mediterranean between Greece and Turkey taking a clear stance in favour of the Greek positions.
“Israel is closely monitoring the escalation of tensions in the Eastern Mediterranean,” the Israeli government said in a statement issued by the Israeli embassy in Greece.

The statement continues, “Israel expresses its full support and solidarity with Greece, its maritime zones and the right to determine its EEZ”.
