"Crazy" Italian coach jumps into Giannis's lap in viral video at 2022 Eurobasket!

The new NBA season is still weeks away but EuroBasket 2022 is giving the world a basketball fix for the summer, and some quite memorable highlights both on and off the court.

One of those off-court moments involved Bucks’ Greek superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, who has been showcasing his amazing talent and skill set, and Italian national coach Gianmarco Pozzecco.

On Sunday, the Greek Freak went viral after being caught in a jumping bear hug of Italy’s National team coach Gianmarco Pozzecco. After securing the hard-fought win over Serbia, the ‘crazy’ and passionate Italian just couldn’t contain his excitement, and Giannis was visibly surprised.

Giannis was actually on his way to warm-ups with his own team before running into Pozzecco in the tunnel, which is what created this wholesome moment.

The video has been going viral on the internet.

The Greek Freak once more led Greece to the quarter-finals after he dropped 27 points on a tough Czech team.

After today’s slate of games, the quarterfinals are set with matchups between Spain and Finland, Slovenia and Poland, France and Italy, and Greece and Germany.
