Earlier, Mr. Dendias visited the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. However, the joint press conference with Dmytro Kuleba took place from a shelter, where the Greek minister was safely taken, as air raid sirens went off.
“We do not recognize the illegal annexation of the Ukrainian territories,” he said, condemning the Russian attacks, the revisionist actions, and the violation of International Law. He also spoke of “Russian war crimes”, while referring to the Turkish provocations, he said: “The Greeks also have a great neighbour in our East. A neighbour who has issued a threat of war against us.”
