Air operations are underway to rescue residents trapped in their homes in Palamas Karditsa.

Dozens of residents, elderly people, women, and children have been picked up by helicopters of the Fire Brigade, the Army, and the Navy from the roofs of their houses, from villages in Trikala and Karditsa and have been transported to safety to be provided with first aid (if necessary), food and water.
