Fire in Achaia in the area of Platani – The School was evacuated

The fire was brought under control around 3:30pm - No homes were damaged

A large fire broke out earlier on Wednesday, in Platani, Achaia. The fire burnt vegetation near Arsakeia Schools, which were evacuated as a precaution, with students being put on the bus.

The Fire Department brought the fire under control around 3:30 without threatening the residential area although houses were within the vicinity.
