The study of the brain is something that has always interested scientists, who are constantly striving to discover ways to enhance cognitive health and prevent cognitive decline. Years of research have identified many factors that accelerate brain aging, but fewer have focused on the elements that can fortify and enhance brain function, inhibiting cognitive decline. A recent study by the Brain, Biology, and Behavior Center at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, in collaboration with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, highlighted the unique role of diet in this process.
