There has been an alarm in Symi in the last few hours as a well-known television British personality, Dr. Michael Mosley, is missing.

The 67-year-old is known for his appearances on television shows such as This Morning and The One Show.

He is also the host of the health podcast, Just One Thing, for the BBC.

His popularity has also increased due to a diet he launched titled “5:2,” which involves fasting for two days a week.

According to local Symi groups on Facebook, a search and rescue team was expected to arrive on the island from Athens, along with drones and more advanced equipment to enhance the search efforts.

His wife, also a doctor, Claire Bailey, raised the alarm after realizing he hadn’t returned by 7:30 PM yesterday. The local authorities began investigating the route he took during the night but were unable to locate him.
