A video depicting the attack by Houthi terrorists last week on the Greek-owned ship Tutor in the Red Sea has been released.
A Filipino sailor is reported to have been killed by the explosion caused by an drone loaded with explosives.
The crew was forced to abandon the ship, which sank on Tuesday.
The footage, taken from a relatively short distance, shows the explosion that occurred near the stern, where the crew quarters and engine room are located.
Immediately, a cloud of smoke rises, followed shortly after by a second, more powerful explosion with a “fireball” on the ship.
Towards the end of the video, the Tutor can be seen, filled with smoke, shortly after the attack.
Meanwhile, in a video released by SKAI and taken seconds after the attack, both the crew and armed guards of the ship can be seen in a state of panic, seeking refuge on the bridge.
A sailor signals an alarm via wireless, and it’s noticeable that some crew members are stumbling, indicating the ship has been rocked by the explosion.
