According to the filing, the 58-year-old had been trying to save herself for 25 minutes without anyone in the pool area doing anything to help her.
The same video shows Triplet trying to hold on to the pool ladder to no avail, and what is even more shocking is that even after she had breathed her last, bathers were passing by the spot without paying any attention to the tragedy that had occurred.
A lawyer for the sports center said Triplet, who was a U.S. Air Force veteran, was walking on crutches before entering the pool.
Meanwhile, it remains unclear whether the unfortunate woman called for help.
The same lawyer said that the 58-year-old woman’s death was caused by cardiac arrest and that such a tragedy had never occurred at the sports center in question.
