Two state counsellors and seven deputy state counsellors were today promoted to vice-presidents by the cabinet.
Specifically, following a proposal by Justice Minister Giorgos Floridis, the cabinet promoted to vice-presidents of the State Council of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Greece (CoE) its current advisers Anna Kalogeropoulou and Dimitris Emmanouilides.
At the same time, the former Supreme Court vice-presidents were promoted to vice-presidents of the Supreme Court, namely the current advocates-general Marulio Daviou – Apergi, Maria Koufoudi, Agapi Tzouliadaki, Alexandra Apostolaki, Maria Simitsis – Vetoula, Aristides Vangelatos and Anastasia Papadopoulou. It should be noted that the promotions at the Supreme Court were made by “diving” in the yearbook of the Arreopagite.
However, the new vice presidents fill the vacancies that occurred at the end of the current year, i.e., June 30, 2024 and garnered the most positive opinions according to the minutes of the conference of the presidents of the House of Representatives.
As it was known, the selection of the new vice presidents was made on the basis of the information in their individual dossiers, general conduct in and out of office, scientific constitution, personality, character and administrative qualifications.
