Olympiacos and Panathinaikos boarded the same flight to Rhodes, the venue for this weekend’s Super Cup (September 28-29). Today, Athens’ Eleftherios Venizelos Airport served as a meeting point for three of the four teams vying for the title, as the two “eternal” rivals met at the airport.

Earlier, coaches Giorgos Bartzokas and Frangiskos Alvertis exchanged handshakes, while Kostas Sloukas took the opportunity to chat with some of his former Olympiakos teammates.

The captain of Panathinaikos enjoyed a relaxed conversation with Giannoulis Larenzakis and later with Sasha Vezenkov and Luca Vildoza, both of whom he shared last season with the “greens.” Numerous basketball fans also rushed to take photos with all the players at the airport.
