The Greek government is committed to supporting the establishment and operation of a Veterinary School at Democritus University of Thrace, according to Minister of Education Kyriakos Pierrakakis.
During his speech at the presentation of the government’s strategic development plan for Evros, Pierrakakis highlighted the government’s decision, driven by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, to greenlight the Veterinary School in Orestiada. The plan will move forward pending approval from the National Veterinary Academy, an independent authority.
