A tragic and terrifying scene unfolded this afternoon in the village of Platanoulia, Larissa, with a 70-year-old woman dropping dead after being attacked by dogs in the yard of her home.

The dogs, according to information from onlarissa.gr, were dominant and under unclear circumstances attacked the unfortunate woman and devoured her, resulting in her tragic death.

An ambulance of the ambulance service rushed to the scene with the crew receiving the body of the woman.

The woman’s husband and son have been brought in to give statements as owners of the dogs at the Tirnavos police station.

The police are investigating the case, while an autopsy is expected in the next few hours.
