Today begins one of the two atmospheric disturbances that will affect our country, with the other expected Saturday. The main feature of the weather today will be showers and occasional thunderstorms possibly locally heavy on the islands of the eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese.
As Thodoros Kolydas says in his post in “X”, on Saturday a big drop in temperature of 10 degrees Celsius (locally even more) is expected. Precipitation heights will be reduced and will not be capable of producing significant snowfall based on current data.
Precipitation will be satisfactory today and tomorrow (Weather P), tapering off by Saturday afternoon into the middle of next week.
The director of EMY also presents the meteorogram of Athens and the movement of the frontal surfaces that will affect us. This is followed by the 6-hour precipitation totals, as well as the temperature change at the 850 hPa level.
