Greece is set to host the pinnacle of women’s basketball in June 2025. The countdown to the tournament’s tip-off will begin with the group draw, scheduled to take place at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Kallithea.
The draw will be held on March 8, International Women’s Day, featuring 16 participating teams. Greece’s national team will be present, as the country is one of the hosts of the Women’s EuroBasket 2025, along with the Czech Republic, Germany, and Italy. Each nation will host one group, with Greece also hosting the tournament’s final phase.
The Women’s EuroBasket 2025 will take place at the Peace and Friendship Stadium (SEF) from June 18 to June 29, culminating with the crowning of the European champion.
The 16 teams participating in the tournament will emerge from the EuroBasket qualifying phase, which concludes in February 2025.
Men’s EuroBasket 2025 Draw
The draw for the Men’s EuroBasket 2025 will take place on March 27 in Riga. The tournament, running from August 27 to September 14, will be hosted by four countries: Cyprus, Poland, Finland, and Latvia, which will also stage the final phase. The final list of 16 teams will be determined following the conclusion of the qualifying phase in February 2025.
