Kifissia: Shop was selling fake products – bags and wallets confiscated

A case file was formed against the owner and employee for violation of the relevant legislation

Police officers from the Anti-Contraband Unit of the Patrol Subdivision discovered a store in Kifisia yesterday morning, as part of an investigation into gathered information, which was selling counterfeit products without the required sales license and legal purchase documents.

During the investigation, the following counterfeit items of a specific brand were found and seized from the store:

  • 9 bags,
  • 7 wallets,
  • 2 bracelets,
  • 8 scarves,
  • Keychains.

As pointed out by the Hellenic Police, an authorized expert evaluated the products of the specific brand as non-genuine, and they were destroyed.

Finally, a case file was formed against the owner and the employee for violating the relevant legislation, as well as for forgery and the acceptance and disposal of criminal products, by the Kifisia Security Department.
