Frost occurred in the morning hours of Sunday 26/01 mainly in the northern continental parts, with the lowest minimum temperature recorded in Florina at -3.8 °C.
According to the network of automatic weather stations of the National Observatory of Athens / meteo.gr, the eight lowest minimum temperatures during the morning hours of Sunday 26/01 are presented in the following table.
Today’s weather
Sunshine is forecast with a few clouds becoming partly cloudy. In the evening and morning hours, mainly on the mainland, visibility will be limited in places and fog will occur, while frost will occur on the northern mainland.
The temperature will range from 0 to 14 degrees in Northern Greece (in Western Macedonia from -2 to 12 degrees), 4 to 16 degrees in Central and Southern Greece, 8 to 17 degrees in Western Greece (in Epirus from 2 to 13 degrees), 7 to 15 degrees in the Cyclades and from 5 to 17 degrees in Crete, 5 to 15 degrees in the East Aegean islands and from 12 to 16 degrees in the Dodecanese.
The winds will be light in the Aegean from variable directions, while in the Ionian Sea from southeastern directions and in the Corinthian Gulf from westerly directions to almost moderate 4 Beaufort.
A few clouds at times thicker and with limited visibility in some places in the morning and evening hours are expected on Monday in Attica. The temperature will range from 9 to 16 degrees Celsius, but in the north, it will be 2-3 degrees lower. Winds will blow from variable directions, light.
We expect sunshine with some clouds and local fog in the morning and evening hours on Monday in Thessaloniki. The temperature will range from 7 to 14 degrees Celsius. The winds in Thermaikos will blow from variable directions, light.

On Tuesday, thin clouds will gradually appear over the southeastern islands and the west, thickening at times with a chance of light local rain. Visibility will be limited in some areas during the morning and evening, with fog forming over mainland regions.
- Winds: Southerly at 3 to 4 Beaufort, locally up to 5, and in the north reaching 6 Beaufort.

Visibility will remain limited in mainland regions during the morning and evening.
- Winds: Southerly at 4 to 6 Beaufort, increasing to 7–8 Beaufort in the Ionian Sea until the afternoon.
