Hearts broke this morning in Kallithea, where the funeral of 3-year-old Angelos was held. The little boy tragically lost his life in Heraklion after suffering abuse from his mother and her partner.

As the white coffin carrying the lifeless body of the child was taken out, several people shouted his name, and others cried out, “You’re not alone.”

The funeral service was held at the Kallithea cemetery, following a decision made by the child’s relatives. Present at the cemetery were his biological father, his grandmother, and other relatives from his mother’s side.

At the cemetery, in addition to his relatives, there were also ordinary people who wanted to say goodbye to the little boy with a white rose.
