According to the latest polling survey by Swg, Prime Minister Georgia Meloni’s Italian Brothers party remains the leading political force in terms of voting intentions among Italians.
More specifically, Meloni’s party is chosen by 29.5% of respondents. The second political force in the statistical sample’s voting intention is the opposition center-left Democratic Party with 22.3%.
This means that the gap between the country’s top two forces, according to this poll, is more than seven percentage points.
The two other governing partners – the Forza Italia led by Foreign Minister Anthony Tajani and Mateo Salvini’sLega – “convince”, respectively, 9.2% and 8.5% of the citizens who participated in the poll.
As for the Five Stars, which also belong to the opposition, they are at 11.8%, while the Alliance of the Ecologists and the Italian Left receive 6.7%.
Finally, the two small centrist parties, Action (Azione) and Living Italy are supported by 3.1% and 2.9% of respondents.
