Although access to the Red Beach in Santorini has been prohibited after landslides caused by the recent series of earthquakes on the island, this didn’t stop YouTuber Giannellis from defying the ban, walking on the beach, and telling the firefighters who were alerted when they saw him, “I came to check the seriousness of the situation, I’m a YouTuber.”

Watch from 4:40 to 8:30 of the video.

Starting his description of his reckless visit, he can be heard saying that he came to the Red Beach “to see if the landslides they are talking about are real.”

However, realizing the danger, he then said, “Don’t dare come here. This is very brave, I’m not afraid of what I’m doing, but when you see the rocks during an earthquake period, you should start… peeing your pants.”

“There have been massive landslides, I hope the beach is still there after this video,” continued the YouTuber, who in his narration added that “the magic of nature is such that visitors might not think about the dangers.”

After shouting, “Petros, we made it,” he is then heard saying, “I saw firefighters from far away.” When he approached the officers, he told them, “I came to check the seriousness of the situation, I’m a YouTuber,” adding immediately, “ready for people to curse me. The firefighters are watching over the area, if there are fools like me making videos, it’s not their fault.”
