Alexis Kougias’ son has denied claims of supposed posts by his father on social media, clarifying that the prominent criminal lawyer does not manage any social media accounts. Kougias’ son, Christos Kougias, made the clarification after a fake Twitter account posted a message claiming, “I am fighting with all my strength. My health is being tested, but I won’t give up. Thank you to all who stand by me. Justice and truth will prevail, as always.”

Christos Kougias addressed the issue on Tuesday afternoon, stating: “Regarding the reports about alleged posts from my father, I must clarify that he does not have any social media accounts, so anything circulating is fake. I hope the media will stop taking these false posts into consideration.”
This clarification comes after a fake account, using Alexis Kougias’ name, posted the aforementioned message. Kougias remains in a critical condition, intubated in the ICU at Metropolitan Hospital, where he has been receiving treatment since February 14 due to a high fever. His health condition has deteriorated progressively, leading to the necessity of intubation.

Christos and his sister, Mayra Kougias, had earlier confirmed the severe condition of their father through a social media post, asking for privacy during these difficult times and urging respect from the media.
The situation surrounding Alexis Kougias has been marked by a difficult battle with cancer, which he initially kept private. Despite his diagnosis, he chose to continue working on high-profile cases before undergoing surgery in July 2022. Unfortunately, his health worsened recently, leading to his hospitalization where he now faces the most challenging fight of his life.
