Donald Trump is now threatening the media, authors, and publishers with legal action as well as new legislation.
The cause of his outrage is the use of “anonymous sources,” the existence of which he has questioned, calling them figments of imagination.
In a post on his own platform, Truth Social, the American president emphasizes: “At some point, I will sue some of these dishonest authors and book publishers, or even the media in general, to find out whether or not these ‘anonymous sources’ actually exist, many of which do not.”
Donald Trump referred to lies, writing that they are fabricated and defamatory stories, which are figments of imagination. “They should pay a heavy price for this blatant dishonesty. I will do it as a service to our country,” he pointed out.
In fact, he left open the possibility of new legislation on the matter. “Who knows, we could draft a NEW LAW!” he wrote.
The reason for Donald Trump’s new fury is some reports that seemingly do not give him the praise he believes he deserves. In fact, as he says, “As president, who is credited with having the best start of any president in history,” it is natural to see false reports and books featuring “anonymous” or “unofficial” sources come to light.
