“El. Venizelos: traffic up 8.5% in the first five months of the year – 11.62 million passengers

The number of flights at Athens International Airport reached 99,185, an increase of 7.4% compared to the first five months of 2024

Passenger traffic at Athens airport during May 2025 was 3.1 million, up 2.9% compared to 2024.

According to the announcement of El. At Venizelos airport, domestic demand decreased by 2.1% compared to 2024 levels, while international passenger traffic continued its upward trend, exceeding 2024 levels by 5%.

Overall, in the first five months of the year, the airport’s traffic reached 11.62 million passengers, an increase of 8.5%.
