An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale occurred on Agios Oros at noon on Saturday.
According to the Geodynamic Institute’s automatic solution, the epicentre of the earthquake is in the sea just 7km west of Karyes.
The earthquake, according to the same automatic analysis, had a focal depth of 5 km.
The earthquake was particularly felt in Thessaloniki.
