Colombian senator Miguel Uribe, a candidate for the country’s presidency, remains in critical but stable condition after being shot in Bogota on Saturday, the hospital where he is being treated said today.

“We continue to take the necessary actions to reduce the effects of the injuries, the Santa Fe Foundation Hospital added in a statement.
