Shocking car crash in Heraklion: Vehicle lodged in tree, teens aged 18 and 19 in ICU

A total of 4 young people were injured

A serious crash occurred yesterday at Tybaki in the municipality of Phaistos, in Heraklion Crete, when a car with four passengers “pinned” a tree.

According to creta24.gr, the accident occurred yesterday at dawn, when a car, in which four young people were riding, for an unknown reason, went off the road and hit a tree, which was uprooted.

Four young men were injured in the accident, with two of them, aged 18 and 19, being treated in the intensive care unit of Heraklion University Hospital in serious condition.

The 18-year-old underwent surgery yesterday afternoon.

The other two, 19 and 22 years old, were slightly injured and are being treated in the surgical and orthopedic clinic.
