The first global conference of Greek legal professionals to take place in Athens in July

The conference topics will focus on critical issues such as the protection of fundamental principles of the rule of law, the impact of Artificial Intelligence on judicial systems, and judicial oversight mechanisms.

The First Global Conference of Greek Legal Professionals will be held in Athens from July 7 to 10, under the theme: “Defending Democracy, the Rule of Law, and Justice – Global Challenges and the Role of Artificial Intelligence.”

Specifically, the Plenary of the Presidents of the Bar Associations of Greece is organizing the event in collaboration with the Hellenic Lawyers Association of New York, the Hellenic Australian Lawyers Association, and the Pancyprian Bar Association. This will be the inaugural global gathering of Greek legal minds.

The conference is held under the auspices of the President of the Hellenic Republic, Konstantinos Tasoulas. The lineup of speakers will include prominent figures from the legal field such as university professors, foreign judges, attorneys, and others.

According to the announcement by the Plenary, the conference is considered a landmark event for both the Greek legal world and the international legal community, with participation from distinguished legal professionals from Greece, the United States, Australia, and Cyprus.

The topics will focus on pressing contemporary legal challenges, including the safeguarding of core rule-of-law principles, the influence of Artificial Intelligence on court systems, and judicial oversight mechanisms.
