Actor Gerasimos Michelis passed away on the morning of Tuesday, July 15.
A message on his official social media page announced:
“This morning, our beloved Gerasimos left ‘for another light.’ We will inform all friends of his farewell.”
Michelis was widely recognized for his role in the television series “Para Pente” (Close to Five), where he portrayed one of the main antagonists, a character who relentlessly stalked the series’ protagonists.

Who Was Gerasimos Michelis
Gerasimos Michelis was a distinguished graduate of the Veaki Drama School (Class of 1990, with honors). He had also completed vocal seminars and studied singing and music theory at the Piraeus Conservatory of Music.
Between 1989 and 1992, he participated in the three-year Ancient Drama Workshop led by the renowned director Lefteris Voyatzis.
Michelis had an extensive career across theatre, television, and film.
