Jordan was in Greece as part of a special event organized by his brand, “Board of Greatness,” following a period of relaxation on the island of Spetses.
The dinner menu, curated by the restaurant’s owner and chef Giorgos Papaioannou, was rooted in Greek seafood and traditional flavors. According to gazzetta.gr, Jordan was so impressed with the hospitality and culinary experience that he left an extraordinary €10,000 tip — a gesture that won’t soon be forgotten.
Jordan Praises Greece
During the dinner, Jordan delivered a heartfelt speech, speaking highly of Greece:
“Greece is the land of the ancient gods, where legendary heroes were born and the concept of greatness first took form. At this pivotal moment for the future of the Jordan Brand, we drew inspiration from this remarkable country.
Just as achieving greatness requires countless hours of refinement, this collection was crafted in Italy by master artisans who accept nothing less than perfection.
I’m thrilled that the Jordan family is here for this special gathering. It’s fitting that we’re in Greece — the birthplace of the Olympic Games and modern sports.
As we launch this event, I believe it’s vital for us to come together and set the tone for where the Jordan Brand is heading, while staying true to its legacy of excellence.
Spending time together, face to face, helps strengthen who we are and what the brand represents. We’re here to celebrate our successes, learn from our failures, and plan for future opportunities.
As we wrap up 40 years of greatness, I’m excited about what lies ahead. This is a defining moment for the Jordan Brand, and each of you plays a crucial role. Your dedication to our values and how we present ourselves truly matters. You are the key to what comes next, and I can’t wait to see what we’ll achieve together.
