A large rekindling of the fire in Mavrovouni, Feneos occurred this afternoon (July 23). Currently, 340 firefighters, 75 vehicles, 11 aircraft, and 10 helicopters are operating at the scene.
Residents of the areas of Mati, Achladea, and Amygdalea in Corinthia received a 112 emergency alert to evacuate toward Ancient Feneos (Kalyvia).

The fire front in Feneos, Corinthia was subsiding earlier this morning, but strong winds appear to have caused it to flare up again and expand significantly.
