More than 150 grams of cocaine, 55 anabolic steroid pills, a taser, a pistol magazine, and 39 rounds of ammunition were among the items found in the possession of a former police officer and popular TikToker who was arrested on Monday, August 4, for drug trafficking.
The former officer is being prosecuted for one felony and three misdemeanors. He was referred to an investigating judge and is expected to request time to prepare his statement.
The man is well known on social media, with his TikTok account boasting around 300,000 followers.
Statement by the Hellenic Police:
“On the afternoon of Monday, August 4, two individuals – one of them a former police officer – were arrested by the Internal Affairs Service of Security Forces, accused of drug possession and trafficking, as well as weapons law violations.
In November 2024, the Internal Affairs Service received email complaints alleging that the then-active police officer was involved in illegal activities. These were forwarded to the supervising Prosecutor of the Athens Court of Appeals, who ordered a preliminary investigation into potential criminal offenses.
Through investigative procedures, including special surveillance methods, evidence was gathered indicating the officer’s involvement in drug possession, use, and distribution, as well as the handling of large sums of money. It was also found that he took counter-surveillance measures to avoid detection.
On August 4, 2025, after the former officer voluntarily appeared at Internal Affairs for a separate matter, a home search was authorized in the presence of a judicial official.
Upon arrival at the residence, a second suspect—temporarily staying at the location—tried to block police entry and was caught attempting to dispose of a package from the bathroom window. The package was retrieved and found to contain approximately 153 grams of white powder, likely cocaine.
The subsequent searches uncovered and confiscated:
- A precision digital scale
- An electric shock device (taser)
- A pistol magazine
- 39 rounds of ammunition
- 55 anabolic steroid pills
- A metal baseball bat
- 2 mobile phones
- 2 hand-rolled cigarettes with suspected cannabis
- The former officer’s police ID, falsely reported as lost
- A certificate of loss of that ID
- €1,550 in cash
It is noted that the former officer had recently resigned from the Hellenic Police.
The two suspects were taken to the competent prosecutor and referred to an investigating judge.”
