Zelenski’s full post on the phone call with Kyriakos Mitsotakis
“I spoke with the Prime Minister of Greece, @kmitsotakis. We are coordinating our moves and looking for opportunities to provide greater protection to Ukrainians.
We discussed enhancing our air defense capabilities. This is particularly important now as Russia continues to carry out increasingly violent attacks against Ukraine.
I have talked about a new mechanism for buying U.S. weapons, which we are implementing jointly with NATO member states. Each country’s contribution can really strengthen our defenders.
Kyriakos also presented a good proposal for the recovery of our country, in particular the rehabilitation of the Odessa port infrastructure and the development of transport and logistics corridors in the Southeast European region. We agreed that our teams will work on its implementation.
I am grateful for the decisive support to Ukraine and the willingness to do even more.”
