How supermarkets will operate on the day of the holiday

February 15, “the Easter of summer”, is one of the obligatory holidays of the year with most supermarkets and stores remaining closed. However, there are exceptions on Mid-August.

Some supermarkets, such as the shop&go chain AB Vassilopoulos, as well as OK Market, will remain open locally. All mini-markets that open on Sundays and other holidays are also expected to be open.

The stores of the Kritikos chain will be closed, but with exceptions. Specifically, the following will be open on 15 August.

Lidl supermarkets will be closed except for three in: Katerini, Leptokaria and Ierapetra.

The supermarkets of the Sklavenitis and Masoutis chains will be closed on 15 August. Generally Market in, My Market and Galaxy will be closed.

It is recommended that you contact the store you plan to visit in advance to confirm the exact opening time.

Please note that retail stores and shopping centers are also closed.
