A video has been released showing the moment of the arrest of 34-year-old homeless man Ross Judd, accused of murdering 39-year-old pregnant Greek-Australian woman Athena Georgopoulou and beheading her 50-year-old partner Andrew Gunn in Melbourne on Monday night.
A pregnant woman and her partner have been murdered in their Mount Waverley home, sparking a widespread hunt for their killer.

Footage shows police officers handcuffing Judd, who is wearing a bloody shirt, an image consistent with the description of those who saw him going for… burgers shortly after the double murder.

Dog sales are behind the crime
Although police have not officially released the motive of the 34-year-old homeless man, media outlets in Australia are reporting that the fight that led to the double murder may have been triggered by a disagreement that Georgopoulou’s partner allegedly had with the homeless killer.
According to the same reports, neighbors had noticed tension between Judd, who was known to many locals, and Gunn over his beloved German shepherd, who rarely strayed from his side.
Judd himself has two German shepherds and was often seen in the area with his dogs, including the night the 39-year-old Greek-American woman and her 50-year-old companion were murdered.
According to the Herald Sun, Gunn and Judd may have been involved in a dispute over the sale and ownership of other dogs.
