A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Chania on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Geodynamic Institute, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 24 kilometers southwest of Palaiochora, Chania.
The focal depth of the seismic tremor was 54.8 kilometers.
