A very serious traffic accident occurred in the early hours of Friday in Thermi, Thessaloniki, involving two cars.

According to initial reports, the vehicles were moving along the Thessaloniki–Moudania national road when they collided. Eyewitnesses state that one of the cars (a black Porsche), which was traveling at an extremely high speed, crashed into the second vehicle, which was turned into a mangled mass of metal.

The two passengers of the car, one of them seriously injured, were transported to the hospital.

The driver of the luxury vehicle freed himself by breaking the car’s sunroof and then disappeared.

Police investigations to locate him are ongoing.
