For years, Giorgio Armani‘s vision has been to bring Armani’s design philosophy to the luxury yachting industry. A project that the Italian fashion mogul realized by creating two mega yachts, 72 meters, the result of an exclusive collaboration between the house and the Italian Sea Group.
The project combines the complete exterior and interior design of the yachts by Armani himself. Their exteriors are characterized by clean, geometric lines harmonizing with curved surfaces, while the interiors by Armani Casa highlight and enhance the designer’s aesthetic philosophy. The result is a harmonious synthesis of stylistic sophistication, advanced technologies, and naval excellence, designed to redefine the standards of high-end luxury yachts.
A timeless influence in the fashion world, Giorgio Armani himself described the project as a personal creative outlet: “The sea and drawing are two of my greatest passions. With this new collaboration, I have extended the idea of decoration and furniture to the nautical world, where, as in fashion, aesthetics and functionality coexist naturally and elegantly.”
Masterpieces of the sea in Greek Cypriot hands
One of the first people who shared Giorgio Armani’s vision to extend his talent to the sea was the businessman Kostas Kleanthous. That is why he was the one who bought the two mega yachts Armani, which will be presented in a few days at the Monaco Yacht Show. The first yacht has already been completed and is in the test boat phase, while the second is moving into the final construction phase.
