On Thursday morning, the Thessaloniki–Nea Moudania national road in Halkidiki was filled with tanks, support vehicles, and military equipment during the rehearsal for the October 28th military parade in Thessaloniki.

Tanks and vehicles of the Hellenic Army, patrol cars and motorcycles of the Hellenic Police, and fire engines took their positions early and carried out crossings in perfect formation.

The mechanized units of the Armed Forces—tanks, armored vehicles, and support vehicles—stole the show.

The road will remain closed until 16:00, and no vehicle traffic is allowed on the section stretching from the Nea Aerogefyra of Thermi (near Prophet Elias) to the Rysio overpass, in both directions.
