Thousands of people marched today at Istanbul to protest about the suicide bombing in the Turkish capital Ankara that killed at least 95 people and wounded 246.

Today’s protest was organized by unions, non-government organizations and left-wing and pro-Kurdish political parties. About 10,000 people it is estimated to have marched down in central Istanbul with police maintaining a heavy presence.

Protesters were holding banners reading “Erdogan ordered, gangs killed”.

A protest was also held yesterday night where people carried placards reading “the state is a killer” and “we know the murderers”.
