A photo of Greek old women feeding a refugee baby becomes viral

The old women kept the baby in their arms with affection

Newsroom October 19 02:18

Lesvos island is one of the places which has suffered the most from the hundreds of refugees who continue landing on the island. But, despite all, the local people distinguish themselves from the politicians and political actions and show their affection and humanitarianism to the people who were forced to leave their country and risk their lives everyday.

A photograph showing three Greek old women sitting on a bench at Lesvos island and feeding with love a refugee baby became viral in social media.

The old women talked to the woman in Greek asking her to give them her baby. From the body language and the signs, the woman understood and gave the child to them”.

The old women kept the baby in their arms with affection and fed it while its mother was standing next to them smiling.
