The Greek Ministry of Tourism seeks funds from individuals in order to promote the country, as indicated in the draft law submitted to Parliament, entitled: ‘Simplifying procedures to enhance tourism entrepreneurship, restructuring of the Greek National Tourism Organization and other provisions’.

With regard to the sponsorship agreement, the sponsor will undertake the obligation to provide the recipient with sponsorship money, services, materials, or intangible property rights to support a specific purpose or activity, and the recipient of sponsorship is required to display public disclosure of the offered sponsor. The design, implementation, the form and the content of sponsorship for the tourist promotion of Greece will be in cooperation with the recipient of sponsorship and the sponsor altogether.
