There will be disruptions to the Greek public transport network due to a work stoppage by employees of the Athens metro, tram, bus, trolley and electric railway (ISAP) services, while railway and suburban railway employees will join the 24-hour strike called by Greece’s two major unions, GSEE and ADEDY.
There will be no metro, tram, bus, trolley and electric railway from the start of the shift until 9 a.m. and from 9 p.m. until the end of the shift.
Railway services will be cancelled while there will be disruptions to the metro service from Doukissis Plakendias station until the airport throughout the day.
Public transport unions have warned of further labor action throughout the month as well as a symbolic occupation of the offices of the country’s privatization agency on December 15, when the binding offers for a stake of the Piraeus port (OLP) begin.
