Fire fighters recovered the body of a 50-year-old woman who fell over the platform at Agios Ioannis metro station in Athens.

According to the fire service, the accident occurred a few minutes after midnight, when the woman fell over the platform and was run over the train. The firefighters managed to free the woman, but she was unconscious.

Authorities are still investigating the accident.
