Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has been engaged in political and communicative management of imposing a new package of strict measures of 5.4 billion euros to be applied this year and for everyone, with 1.8 billion euros concerning indirect taxes, since it is possible that the program review will be completed in April and, thus, it’s time for the government to make difficult political decisions.

In this framework, Mr. Tsipras decided to include the phone-tapping incident revealed by Wikileaks in the talks for program review attacking IMF.

In the meantime, it seems that European partners are either indifferent to the conversation leak or they do not think it is important, while even Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos who participate in the negotiation talks, did not want to comment the issue in yesterday’s meeting with the troika.

But, the IMF has already clarified that it insists on its positions, which are not fully accepted by European partners.
