Police arrested a 35-year-old Egyptian man after he reportedly attempted to rape his 34-year-old female boss in the city of Thebes in Boetia. The woman reported the alleged attack to the police on Tuesday after the Egyptian employee tried to sexually assault her in the store were he worked on a temporary basis.

According to her claims, while the two were in the shop alone, the alleged assailant attacked her and tried to force her to have sexual intercourse against her will.

Police immediately launched an investigation into the incident and managed to apprehend the man on Tuesday. The employee denied the allegations but was taken before the local Prosecutor’s Office on charges of attempted rape.
